About
I am a Ph.D. student in sociology at Rice University. My research focuses on religion, cultural sociology, and immigration and ethnicity.
My work examines religious and nonreligious experiences among Chinese immigrants, changing plans in educational migration, and religious representation in science. I am an affiliated graduate student at Rice’s Boniuk Institute for the Study and Advancement of Religious Tolerance.
I hold M.A. degrees in sociology from Rice University (2026) and Columbia University (2023), and a B.A. with honors in sociology from the University of Southern California (2022), where I also minored in philosophy.
